Quintessential Arts is Elegant Handmade Jewelry for all elements of life.|
I'm rather in love with the idea of capturing and preserving the beauty of the forest, making it something you can bring with you, wherever you may be.
I am a recent herbal sciences graduate from Bastyr University and I like to incorporate my herbal knowledge with my jewelry whenever possible. Plants, especially medicinal ones, are a huge part of my life and it brings me great joy to bring them into yours
I love making custom pieces. Don't hesitate to ask if there is something I can bring to life for you~
Silver metal clay is 99% pure silver containing recycled silver, in an organic clay-like binder. For some pieces, I water down the silver clay and paint it on layer by layer (50 layers!) and let it dry between each painting. For others, I make a mold of the leaf or press it directly into the clay. I form and cut, file, torch, sand, and polish each piece all by hand.
